Hiking & Snowshoeing

The hiking and snowshoeing trails in the Rangeley region are more than abundant! At Red Quill Camp I have provided maps of hiking & snowshoeing trails.  Near Red Quill Camp there is a two-mile hike up Round Top, which connects Quimby Pond and Dodge Pond. Some other great hikes include: the Angel Falls Trail, Bald Mountain, Wilhelm Reich Museum Walking Trails (Great Snowshoeing!), Bemis Stream Trail, Mingo Springs Trail and Bird Walk, and Hunter’s Cove Wildlife Sanctuary.

The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce also has free hiking maps of the area. They are located in downtown at 6 Park Road Rangeley. (207) 864-5364
