About The Camp Owner
I am a registered Maine Guide and Educator, and have been coming to the Rangeley region, primarily to ski and fish. I fell in love with the area after ‘discovering’ Saddleback Mountain’s amazing glades and narrow trails. I also love fly-fishing, and knew of Rangeley’s trophy sized landlocked salmon and famous brook trout fisheries, but had yet to fish them for myself.
Rangeley is the perfect region for someone who enjoys the outdoors, and I was very excited to find this camp and be able to call it my own and share it with others. I love and appreciate this mountainous region whether I am sitting on the camp porch enjoying the wildlife as I write, or I am shredding fresh powder through the glades. I was also thrilled to find my new neighbors were very friendly folks, who welcomed me to the pond, and who always wave as they walk or drive past the camp.
I have guided and taught for the Chewonki Foundation, Friends of Baxter State Park, Prescott College, Northern Outdoors and The Appalachian Mountain Club. Out of all my adventuring, guiding, and teaching my favorite place to be is on the waterways in the Rangeley Region because they are remote quiet and beautiful.
